6 Months!

I can't believe how time has flown by. A real indicator for us that Dylan will be here soon is that our friends Stephanie and Nick (A Sticklen Story) had their little boy! Logan Michael Sticklen was born on 11-11-10 at 5:56p.m. at 7lbs. 15oz. and 19in. long! They are all doing well. Stephanie has been my reference point throughout my pregnancy, I remember just finding out and being like "man, I just wish I was as far along as Steph is"... now, I am at that point and now she has had Logan!! The time in between went by so quickly, as I hope these next few months do!

Since my last post, Dylan has really been squirming and kicking! As you moms know, it is just an amazing feeling, I mean to feel my little boy moving and kicking me... wow... I just can't explain. Lately, I've actually seen his little kicks from the outside. At work one morning I started to feel him kick and I looked down to see it and my ID was moving up and down from all his kicks. I get so frustrated though because as soon as he kicks once or twice I yell for Tim to come see... then that little stinker stops!

We've also started in the nursery. Tim has painted and the next step will be for him and my dad to put up the wainscoting and chair rail! I think they plan on doing this in the beginning of December. Tim also added some more rods to Dylan's closet. We have a feeling his closet will be getting filled with lots of little outfits soon!

He only painted about 3/4 down because the rest will be where the wainscoting and chair rail are.

24 Week Check-Up: Everything was great! Dylan's heartbeat was strong and he was moving around all over the place, she kept having to relocate the doppler to get us to hear his heartbeat! When I got back, December 13th, I will be doing the glucose test...fun. Then after that I'll be going every 2 weeks, that's crazy to think I'll already be at that point. Dr. Mullin also discussed what contractions feel like and what braxton-hicks contractions feel like, just in case... but, obviously intending on not feeling those for another 15 weeks or so!
