32 Week Check-Up!

We are down to going every 2 weeks now to the doctor, I go back on the 25th and then the 8th and after that I'm at going once a week! I can't believe it! What's also neat is that Kimberly and I are pretty much in sync so far with our appointments...her's was on the 11th and her next one is also on the 25th. It's great to be so close in our due dates and compare notes! I can't wait to meet my new little niece!

This last appointment was going to be pretty uneventful, we've done all the 'fun' stuff so I told Tim he didn't need to come. As I was walking into the building I noticed this truck out of the corner of my eye creeping up on me and turned to look and saw Timmy there. I walked over as he rolled down the window saying "surprise" with a dozen red roses... that boy, he is something else! To this day, when I see him unexpectedly like that or out of our normal routine, he makes my heart drop...cheesy? I know. ;) It was a nice surprise.

This time while in the waiting room I made a list of questions for Dr. Mullin, because I always draw a complete blank when she asks me if I have any questions. So, I pondered a few things that I've been experiencing. For the past couple of weeks I've been experiencing what feels like bad menstrual cramps and then my stomach tightens up, I assumed they were braxton hicks contractions and Dr. Mullin assured me they were contractions and as long as they are only happening a couple of times a day, at this point, that is completely fine. We also talked a little bit about a birth plan and circumcision.

Our little guy's heart rate was good and ranging in the 140s. He's been really active lately, not only in his movements but with hiccups. I'm pretty sure his head is down, based on where I am feeling the hiccups. I can feel his little limbs at the top part of my bump. He's definitely got his daddy's restless leg syndrome, lol!

As for me, I am back to not sleeping at night... for a few reasons 1)I have to pee like 4-5 times in the middle of the night, 2) Dylan positions himself in a way that leaves it impossible for me to get comfortable, and 3) I have million things running through my mind at any given minute. Other than that, I'm fortunate to be having an easy pregnancy, let's just hope that doesn't mean I am going to have a bad delivery/recovery!

This past weekend, we also went to our birthing class! It was from 12-6! Pretty long, but very beneficial... I was glad Tim got to see (probably more than he wanted) what 'exactly' happens during delivery, lol! He was a good sport, as always. I feel much more comfortable with the idea of some things that might have to happen, i.e. epidural. I've been really freaked out by that, but the class made me feel better. Knowledge is power!

Here are some more pictures from our first shower, Nicole emailed these to me!
