It didn't seem like I was craving foods until I stopped to think about the past few weeks and what I had been eating... more of! It is hard for me to distinguish when it is a craving and when it just sounds good. If you know me, you know that I love all food, literally. I have had a huge desire to drink cold, cold milk! I usually have a glass in the morning and a glass at night. I've also been munching down on Cheese-Itz, I can't get enough of those little golden pieces of heaven! My good friend Stephanie can account for this, as I have raided her stash at school on more than one occasion. She is also prego (due in November) so she can relate. Another random one is strawberry jelly. Stephanie had a strawberry Smuckers Uncrustable sandwich awhile back and from that moment on I couldn't get strawberry jelly out of my head! This is very strange, because grape jelly is normally my jelly of choice. So, I recently went to the store and purchased strawberry jelly AND Smuckers Uncrustables, strawberry of course!!!
Speaking of food, I have been on a health conscious kick these past couple of weeks. I know, funny, considering my cravings I just mentioned. Nevertheless, one of my biggest fears is developing pre-eclampsia or another related illness. So, I looked up online (naturally) and saw that while there isn't an actual way to prevent this, it is a safe bet that with exercise and a nutritious diet, your chance of developing this will decrease. As if I wasn't already freaked out about this, Tree mentioned that she had toxemia (similar to pre-e) with my brother. GREAT. Since that conversation, we now have an exercise bike, a treadmill, buckets of fruit, and bags of carrots in our house! Thanks to my Granny for letting us borrow the exercise equipment and Bud for hauling them over the next day! Now, let's just see how long I can keep this up...
